Mia Everding

Mia Everding was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for her bachelor of journalism where she studied journalism, Spanish and film studies. She also received her master's in journalism from UNL. She first got connected to Isaiah 55 in 2018 while working on a week-long mission trip and returned in following years. In the summer of 2022, she served for three months, helping with short-term mission projects before realizing the Lord had planted the idea of her returning for an extended stay in missions. She’s projected to be in Reynosa until August 2024. Currently, she helps with mission teams from across the United States and Mexico that serve on short-term projects during spring break and the summers, and on the neighborhood outreach and donor communication teams. In her free time, Mia enjoys embroidering flowers and bugs on clothing, going on bike rides and doing yoga.
