Jez and Debbie Velazquez

Jez and Debbie are passionate about serving their local church in Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico.

Jez, originally from Tampico, holds degrees in digital communication and Mexican law. Involved in church since childhood, he joined Isaiah 55 Ministries in 2021. He helps develop a God-centered school curriculum, oversees legal matters for the ministry, and is active in church planting, community outreach, and mentoring teenage boys.

Debbie, raised in Reynosa, has served with Isaiah 55 since 2015. She serves as the volunteer team scheduler, coordinating short-term mission teams, and also assists with children’s activities and interpretation. She holds a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from UNT and has worked in schools and medical settings, driven by a heart for underserved communities.

Married since May 2023, Jez and Debbie have a son, Hesed Kai, who was born in February 2024. United in vision, they seek to expand God’s Kingdom by sharing the gospel through education, language, and communication.
